Carolyn Mull Donaldson, age 80, of McCaysville, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Donaldson was born August 8, 1941, in Mineral Bluff, to the late Wayne Mull and Kathleen Anderson Mull. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Mull.

Carolyn had been very active in the community. She was a member of First Baptist Church of McCaysville/Copperhill where she served as Vacation Bible School Director for many years and was active with the Gene Fry Circle Church Group. In addition, she had worked with the Fannin County Band Booster Club for several years and served as treasurer; City Of McCaysville City Clerk; Banker Customer Service Representative for First National Bank and BB&T, Banker of Business Development for Bank of Blue Ridge; a member of Beta Sigma PHI and treasurer, Copperhill Kiwanis Club president, vice president and treasury, an active member of the Copperhill Primetime Choir, Committee member and treasurer of Union Community Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, John R. Donaldson; daughter, Sina D. (Phillip) Wilson; granddaughters, Kristan (Brad) Gunzenheiser and MyKayla Morgan Wilson; many relatives, friends, and neighbors also survive.

Graveside service were held Monday, January 10, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Sammy Ledford Officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville.
