Craddock Center announces performances

Songs & Stories 2020 at The Craddock Center in Cherry Log, Georgia is the place to be on Saturday, January 25, at 3:00 p.m.  

The Craddock Center will present two performances for this year’s Songs & Stories. Gopher Broke and Carol Cain, as Rosie the Riveter, will perform. Admission is free, and seating is limited. There are no reservations.

Gopher Broke Band is rooted in Southern Appalachian folk, blues, and rock music. Group members have performed for twenty years and have performed with touring bands and are favorites in local festivals and venues. Carol Cain portraying Rosie the Riveter. For the past twenty-four years, Carol has performed as Rosie the Riveter at the Little White House in Warm Springs, Georgia and other locations throughout the U.S. As Rosie, Carol dons coveralls, work boots, and the iconic head scarf to tell the story of women workers on the home front during World War II.
