The Ducktown Basin Museum has canceled all scheduled events on museum property for the months of June and July in response to ongoing COVID-19 concerns.
This cancellation includes the annual Kids’ Carnival, which had been previously scheduled for June 6, as well as the Friday-night gathering, the Saturday-morning pancake breakfast, and the Saturday-afternoon copper company workers’ reunion traditionally held at the Hoist House during Miner’s Homecoming in Ducktown.
At this time, the annual Fall Arts & Crafts Festival at the Hoist House is still scheduled for September 12, 2020.
The museum will remain closed until at least Monday, June 15, however visitors are still welcome to take the self-guided outdoor walking tour any time during daylight hours.
