Jimmy Earl Clement of Pipe Creek, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep September 15, 2021, after a long battle with cancer.

He was born October 20, 1940, in Mineral Bluff, being the third oldest of 11 children of Earl and Roberta Clement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Elizabeth Clement August 20, 2021; mother, Roberta Burnette Clement; father, Euclid Earl Clement; sisters Marjorie Scroggs (Roy) and Joyce Turner (Frank).

He is survived by his daughter, Ceile Ayers (Caleb) of Boerne, Texas; stepson, James Franssen of Pipe Creek; grandchildren, Connor Ayers and Clara Ayers; brothers , Joe Clement (Diane), of Mineral Bluff, John Clement (Kathy), of Adairsville, Georgia, Don Clement (Annette), of McCaysville, and William Clement, of Mineral Bluff; sisters, Patricia Harper (Ray), of Turtletown, Linda Clement, of Morganton, Nancy Clement, of Manchester, Tennessee, and Cathy Burke (Wesley), of Ellijay, Georgia; sister-in-law, Kathy Sholtz, of San Antonio, Texas; life-long friend, Richard (Mel) Dugosh, of Tarpley, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Jim loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. He attended North Georgia College, then entered the Air Force and was honorably discharged from the Air Force after four years of service. Jim was employed by the Small Business Administration and retired after many years of service.

At his request, Mr. Clement was cremated and his remains will be returned to Georgia for a private family burial at Hemptown Baptist Church cemetery next to his parents.
