Mrs. Barbara Ann Dunn Mullis, age 79, of McCaysville, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, in Cartersville, Georgia.
She was born February 9, 1942, in McCaysville, to the late Rev. James Charlie Dunn and Bertha Mae Huffman Dunn. Barbara was a long-time member of Mount Liberty Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a filing clerk for Continental Insurance and enjoyed doing yard work. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Thomas Mullis; brother, Gene J. Dunn; and brother-in-law, Jim Thomas.
Barbara is survived by her son, Sean Thomas Mullis; brothers and sisters-in-law, James C. “Buzz” and Peggy Dunn of Greenville, Georgia, and Bill and Tina Dunn of Appling, Georgia; sister, Martha Ann Thomas of Douglasville, Georgia; and her feline companion, Spot.
Graveside services were conducted Thursday, July 29, 2021, from the Mount Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joey Phillips officiating.
