SHOP WITH A COP SERVES AREA CHILDREN

Fannin County School Resource Officer Deputy Tracy Summers helps a youngster select his gifts during Shop With A Cop Saturday at the Blue Ridge Walmart.

Fannin County Detention Sergeant Tyler Limburg had his hands full helping two youngsters pick out gifts during Shop With A Cop Saturday.

Shop With A Cop counts on many volunteers to help make the annual program a success, such as Fannin County Chief Tax Appraiser Dawn Cochran. She is shown, third from left, with Levi Lacy who is all smiles as he shows off his brand new bicycle. Jason Long and Merilee Bennett were also there when Lacy made his choice during the event Saturday at the Blue Ridge Walmart.

Fannin County Deputy Sheriff Corporal John Kinser helps a youngster pick out the perfect Christmas gift during Shop With a Cop. A total of 87 children were served by the program this year.

Choosing a Christmas gift isn't always easy for youngsters taking part in Shop With A Cop. This young man was helped Saturday by Department of Natural Resources Sergeant Cody Long.
