LET THE FUN BEGIN!

Fannin County High School thespian Zachary Nelson didn’t let anything rain on his parade as he danced through downtown Blue Ridge during the annual Light Up Blue Ridge parade Saturday, November 30.

The deck of Burra Burra on the River was filled for the lighting of the large Christmas tree, perched above the Toccoa River in McCaysville. Crowds also filled the streets and lined the bridges for Light Up McCaysville.

Mike Galinski welcomed visitors to Burra Burra on the River with open arms as the restaurant took part in Light Up McCaysville Friday, November 29.

McCaysville Mayor Thomas Seabolt and Ann Williams welcomed Santa Claus to Light Up McCaysville festivities Friday night, November 29. The event included singers and cartoon characters who visited with the many children who attended.

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived in downtown Blue Ridge on the train during the annual Light Up Blue Ridge festivities Saturday, November 30.
