Doris Stuart

Mrs. Doris Lorraine Stuart, age 92, of Rocky Mtn. Circle, Cherry Log, Georgia passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in Manor Lake Assisted Living following an extended illness.

Mrs. Stuart was born March 16, 1930, in Berlin, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late John Lapage and the late Eva Gilbert Page.

Doris loved music and animals, especially birds. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Stuart was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving Mrs. Stuart are her loving husband and best friend of 68 years, William Stuart of Cherry Log; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Cindy May of Annapolis, Maryland; Peggy and Larry Byrnes of Lake Port, Michigan; Terry and Joe Healy of Kiawah Island, South Carolina; Kathleen and Mark Belongie of Cherry Log; twelve grandchildren, Laura Higgins, Michelle May, Erin May, Christopher Byrnes, Ryan Byrnes, Emily Healy, Joe Healy, Paul Beongie, Nicole Phillis, Mel Belongie, Eddie Arner and Mike Arner; six great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date from the Good Samaritan Church in Ellijay.

In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to Willowbrook Hospice in Mrs. Stuart’s memory.
