Mrs. Carolyn “Mimi” Weese, age 82, of Blue Ridge, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.

Carolyn was born December 17, 1939, the daughter of the late Thomas Benjamin Clyburn and Clara Etta Armfield Clyburn.

Carolyn was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Copperhill. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Her husband, Robert Glenn Weese; sisters Clara Sue McCall, and Ruth Ann Morris; and brother Thomas Benjamin Clyburn III preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Turner; son-in-law, Alan Turner; daughter, Nancy Montgomery and partner, Chris Smith; daughter, Robyn Irvin; son-in-law, Keith Irvin; son, Robert Glenn Weese; daughter-in-law, Michelle Weese; sister, Sarah Lynn Garrison and brother-in-law, Dr. Larry Garrison; grandson, Devyn (Jessie) Montgomery; granddaughter, Kelsea (Josh) Powell; granddaughter, Haley Montgomery; grandson, James C. Berry III (Trey) (Marie); grandson, Dr. Richard Grant Berry; granddaughter, Robyn Turner; grandson, Aaron Turner; granddaughter, Morgan Heatherly ; granddaughter, Caroline Heatherly ; grandson, Jackson Weese; granddaughter, Olivia Weese; step-grandchildren, Cole (Kasey) Irvin, Maddie Irvin, Blake Irvin, greatgrandchildren Landon Puckett, Brittany Montgomery, Brayden, Kaydence, and Jalen Cleveland, and Vinnie Berry. Carolyn is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Lynsea Garrison, of New York, and lifelong friend, Louise Arp.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 15, at 11 a.m. from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Buddy Butler officiating.

Interment followed in Crestlawn Cemetery.

The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Aaron Turner, Devyn Montgomery, Josh Powell, Jackson Weese, Dr. Richard Berry and Trey Berry.
