The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association (BRMAA) will remain closed to the public through May 5 and is considering canceling major events.

During trying times, it is important to unite as a community and lend a hand wherever possible.

“This is definitely something that will not only forever impact our senior class, if we don’t get to walk (in a graduation ceremony), but all senior classes across the nation,” said Ryley Mervine,

The Fannin County and East Polk area is home to many helpful resources for those in need of assistance; however, those resources also need help themselves from time to time.

Quorum Health Corporation, which owns Fannin Regional Hospital and 22 other community hospitals across the country,  has filed for bankruptcy protection.
