Shelia “Sherry” Marie Frasure Dickey unexpectedly passed from this life Monday, December 13, 2021, at South Baldwin Medical Center, Foley, Alabama.

She was surrounded by her three sisters, Diane, Sandra and Donna.

Sherry was born June 26, 1958, in Copperhill. She lived with her maternal grandparents, Tom and Lizzie Panter of Dial, GA.

Nursing was her profession and passion. She graduated near the top of her class as an LPN.

Sherry loved cats and left behind Tilley Mae, her best friend of 19 years. Having many talents throughout her life, Sherry was known for her cake and pie baking. She made many beautiful quilts.

Sherry is survived by two sons, Michael Watkins, his wife Heather, and Jason Dickey and his wife Sky; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren: her siblings, Diane Marchetta and husband Frank, Sandra Mascia, Ray Frasure and wife Judy, and,until this week, Donna Stephens; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her final resting place on this earth will be spread on the bank of the Toccoa River, which runs in front of the old homestead and Sugar Hill Cemetery.
