Shelia Holt

Mrs. Shelia Ann Holt, age 73, of Farner, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She was born February 12, 1949, in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Noble Clyde and Mary Wrethel Higdon Mahan.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, David Mahan, Gene Mahan, Rex Mahan.

She is survived by her husband, Lowell Dean Holt Sr., of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Lowell Dean Holt Jr., and Danielle Holt of Farner, Tennessee; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry and Myona “Boots” Mahan of Ranger, Georgia; Matthew Mahan of Waleska, Georgia; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy Childers of Calhoun, Georgia, Brenda and Doug McDaniel of Rydal, Georgia; grandchildren, Anya and Jonathan; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. from the Salacoa Baptist Church Cemetery with Danny Helton, Doug McDaniel, Brent McDaniel, James Whitlow, Scotty Childers, and Scott Stafford serving as pallbearers. The family received friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday.
