Larry J. Bradburn, age 67, of Blue Ridge, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, at his home following an extended illness.

Larry was born April 22, 1954, in Ellijay, Georgia, to the late Charles William Bradburn and Emma Lou Pless Bradburn. He worked many years as the owner and operator of Cheryl’s Daycare along with his wife. Larry was a member of Salem # 2 Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jerry Bradburn.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Cheryl Bradburn, of the home; children, Steven (Amanda) Bradburn, of Carrollton, Georgia, Brian (Wendy) Bradburn, of Turtletown; beloved service dog, Bella Lou; grandchildren, Brady Bradburn, Natalie Bradburn, Tyler Bradburn, Austin Bradburn, Blake Bradburn, Jacob Collis and Ally Collis; great-grandchildren, Raelyn Bradburn, Leigha Bradburn and Judson Collis; brothers, Charles (Lynn) Bradburn, of Blue Ridge, David (Debbie) Bradburn, of Texas, Ronald (Denise) Bradburn, of Blue Ridge, Roy (Cynthia) Bradburn, of Blue Ridge, and James Bradburn, of Higdon, Georgia; sisters, Monita Davenport, of California, and Margie Hampton, of Resaca, Georgia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert Heavener, of Blue Ridge, Cathy Cruse, of Morganton, Don (Marilyn) Kendall, of Blue Ridge, Barry Key, of Cleveland, Tennessee, Jane (Leonard) Self, of Dial, Charlie (Sandi) Williams, of Woodstock, Georgia, Mike (Cathy) Kendall, of Blue Ridge, and Julie Elizabeth, of Murphy, North Carolina; as well as, a host of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 2 p.m. from the Salem #2 Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Hooper and Rev. Brett Curtis officiating. Music was provided by Rich Donaldson, Beth Pless and Rev. Randy Hooper.

Interment followed in the Salem #2 Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Mike Kendall, Charlie Williams, Chris Bradburn, Adam Bradburn, Tyler Bradburn, Austin Bradburn, Ryan Dills and Danny Wilkins. Honorary pallbearers were all of Larry’s nephews. Donations may be made to help defray final expenses.
