Jim Hartley

Jim Hartley, age 91, of Blue Ridge, passed away March 26, 2022, of natural causes.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia, in 2020.

Jim is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Pam Hartley and Tom and Karen Hartley; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Michael Bryant; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Jim was kind and loving to all he met. If asked how he was, he would always respond, “I’d be a fool to complain.” He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Jim’s wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service to celebrate his and Marcia’s life will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 2 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Chris Clark officiating.
