Jane Hill

Mrs. Jane Aline Panter Hill, age 57 of Rocky Road, Morganton, passed away peacefully, Sunday August 14, 2022, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Hill was born September 30, 1964, in Copperhill, the daughter of the late Jack Panter and the late Judy Evans Panter.

Jane loved gardening, growing flowers and her animals. She loved loving on children. She was a loving mother, sister and aunt.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents and also a brother, Jed Panter in 2007. Mrs. Hill was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mrs. Hill are the father of her children, Jim Hill of Morganton; two sons, Brad Hill of Morganton, and Jake Hill of Ringgold, Georgia; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Janet and James Lunsford of Blairsville, Jenny Kendrix of Suches, Jamie and Rocky Booth of Suches; one brother, Joe Panter of Suches; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in Jane’s memory.
