Stop by Fannin County Animal Control to play with the dogs there or to adopt.
All dogs taken to Animal Control are housed at the facility until being reclaimed or adopted.
This past week, 11 dogs were taken in; one was adopted, and one was reclaimed.
Homeward Bound Pet Rescue took two dogs, and Australian Cattle Dog rescue took one.
Atlanta Lab Rescue took three dogs.
Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.
The Animal Control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.
