Patsy P. Farley, age 74, of Pleasant Shade, Tennessee, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019.
Mrs. Farley was born September 26, 1944, in Blue Ridge. She was the daughter of the late Edd Amos Patterson and Virginia Louise Colwell, and was the granddaughter of Roy and Dessie Colwell, and George and Mandy Patterson. She was also preceded in death by son, Keith Alan Farley and brother, Chuck Patterson.
Mrs. Patsy married Spencer Farley, September 5, 1986. She graduated with honors in 1962 from West Fannin High School, and from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years as a surgical nurse at South Fulton hospital. Her last job was as nurse for the school system of Jackson County, Tennessee, overseeing nursing duties at four schools.
Mrs. Farley was survived by her husband, Spencer Farley of Pleasant Shade, Tennessee; brother, Raland Patterson of Blue Ridge; sister, Paulette (“Potty”) McKinney, of Logansville, Georgia; five children; Kevin (Kay) Farley, Spencer J. Farley II, Timothy Paul (Claudia) Grady, Ken Leland (Giuia) Grady and Lisa Johnson; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
The family held private services to share memories and their love.
