Norman Harrison Bell, age 80, of Mineral Bluff, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at his home.
He was born November 1, 1937, in Mineral Bluff.
He worked as a school bus driver for the Fannin County Board of Education. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mineral Bluff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Harvey Bell and Beth M. Bell; first wife, Carolyn Bell; second wife, Rachel Bell; brothers, Harvey Bell Jr., and Kenneth Bell; and sisters, Pearl Garren, Jane Thurman and Pauline (Albert) Arp.
He is survived by son, Norman Jeffery (Renee) Bell of Isabella; brothers, Herman (Wanda) Bell of Mineral Bluff and Harmon (Glenda) Bell of Buford; sister, Margie Bell of Marietta; grandson, Joshua Aaron Bell and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 2 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge with the Rev. Don Padgett and the Rev. Jesse Sisson officiating. Music was provided by the Rev. Johnathan Adams. Interment followed in the New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
James Hyatt, Steve Byers, Phillip Barker, Bob Hawkins, Tim Hawkins and Jamie Palmer served as pallbearers.
