Raymond Elwin Moss, age 74, of Cherry Log, Georgia, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018, at Northside Hospital in Atlanta.
Raymond was born August 28, 1943, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Artis Moss and the late Nina Middlebrook Moss. He was a deacon of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cherry Log and also an Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Ronald Moss; twin brother, Richard Moss and sister, Jonelle Garrett.
In his spare time, Raymond enjoyed gardening and just being outdoors.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ilka Moss; son, Clay Moss; two step-daughters, Lisbeth Marrugo and Gisell Marrugo; two sisters, June Murdock and Janice Peek, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 5 p.m., at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cherry Log with Pastor Paul Mims officiating. Interment followed at 11 a.m. in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton Thursday, August 30, 2018.
The family received friends at the Cornerstone Baptist Church Tuesday, August 28, 2018, from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m.
