Seventh grade students from Fannin County Middle School participated in a Science Technology Engineering & Math (STEM) Solve a Crime event on Oct. 4. Distraught to learn of Assistant Principal’s Tony Tichler’s (insert) kidnapping were, from left, Christal Loudermilk, Caleb Madar, Hannah Mashburn, and Aubrey Beavers. The hands-on event was a collaboration between FCMS and the Fannin County Sheriff’s Department.
One of the three steps in the Solve a Crime event at Fannin County Middle School was collecting evidence from the crime scene by dusting for fingerprints. Among the students collecting fingerprints were, from left, Devon Jones, Willow Dillingham and Derrick Jones. After dusting those participating would pull a fingerprint and compare it to the 12 suspects’ fingerprints.
