A brindle colored Whippet or terrier mix that was dropped off at the facility on March 16 is seen with Fannin County Animal Control Officer Pat Patterson.
The male dog is very agile and full of energy. He is short-haired with brown and black fur and white chest and feet. He is up for adoption from Animal Control. His animal control number is 049-17.
Only two new dogs were taken in to the facility this past week. Patterson said there are still a number of dogs up for adoption. Anyone interested in seeing their selection can call Animal Control.
Hours of operation are Monday - Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the facility. After hours, the officers follow up with community concerns and respond to stray dog calls.
