SUBJECT: Bid Invitation Propane Fuel
You are invited to bid on propane fuel for the Fannin County School System. For propane fuel we request bids to meet the following specifications:
1. Price per gallon in our tanks fixed.
2. Fixed price bids must include any delivery or other miscellaneous charges (OPIS, PERC, etc.). Any customer charges other than mandatory state or federal fuel taxes will not be paid as an "add-on" to fuel prices after the bid has been accepted. Any fixed price bids not clearly stated in dollars and cents per gallon will not be accepted.
3. The contract awarded to the lowest bidder will commence upon approval by the FCBOE and will be for a term of one calendar year from date of Board of Education approval.
Your bid will be considered providing you agree to the following specifications:
1. Agree to repay to the FCBOE all expenses incurred due to supplier negligence in letting fuel tanks become empty.
2. Agree to the understanding that the FCBOE reserves the right to reject any/or all bids.
3. Agree to fill all tanks to 80% for the duration of the contract unless instructed otherwise by the FCBOE.

Sealed bids must be received by a staff member in on duty in the front office no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 (Unsealed bids will be rejected). However, the Board will officially award the bid at their next meeting and you will be notified of the results by mail on the following day. You may elect to call Michael Gwatney, Superintendent of Schools, the following day should you desire the results sooner than your letter of notification.
